What To Bring To MeasureCamp Dublin
As the big day gets closer, now is the perfect opportunity to remind you of some things you’ll need to bring with you to the first ever MeasureCamp in Ireland. Thankfully, there are more suggestions than requirements, so there’s no need to panic-pack a grab bag before the event!
You’ll need to bring some form of photographic identification to gain access to the venue. This is the only thing you absolutely need to bring to attend the event, so please don’t forget your ID or we can’t guarantee entry.
If you have multiple tickets for different guests, please remind your friends and colleagues of this as everyone is required to have ID. Please also contact us at dublin@measurecamp.org with the names of additional guests as we must confirm the attendee list ten days prior to the event.
With a variety of talks and presentations taking place throughout the day, we recommend you bring along the materials for your favourite note-taking method, be it a laptop, tablet, or the classic combination of a pen and paper. And if you’d rather focus on the content instead of worrying about taking notes, that’s fine too! This is an unconference, and it’s entirely up to you how you’d like to approach it.
At MeasureCamp Dublin, we’re conscious of reducing the amount of unnecessary plastic used throughout the event, and we’re pleased to announce that we will have stations available at the venue to refill your own water bottles. This will greatly reduce the volume of waste from the event, so if possible please do bring your own bottles and we can do our bit for the environment.
Food will be provided alongside snacks, there will be tea and coffee making facilities, and even some beer for after the event! If you have any special dietary requirements, please let us know and we will make sure these are catered to. You’re also more than welcome to bring your own food and soft drinks.
Finally, the last thing we ask is that you bring your own enthusiasm and expertise for analytics! It is the community that makes this great event what it is, and we can’t wait to meet you all in October to share ideas, tips, and knowledge with each other.
